ABOUT KMG

Built From The Inside Out.

KMG was shaped by years spent inside professional sports, working across the entire organization, from the front office to the locker room and every function in between. That experience taught us firsthand how trust is built, how relationships move opportunities forward and why fit matters once the door opens.

WHERE KMG CAME FROM ↓

WHERE KMG CAME FROM

THE PERSPECTIVE CAME BEFORE THE COMPANY.

Long before KMG launched in 2023, its foundation was being built inside team environments.

Nick Kray’s path began as a college football walk-on at Eastern Illinois, where he eventually became a special teams captain. From there, his career moved behind the scenes, first as Director of Football Operations at Yale and later into leadership roles with the San Francisco 49ers and Houston Texans.

Nearly a decade inside professional sports organizations provided a view few people outside those environments ever get. The work stretched across the organization, from the front office to the locker room, connecting people, departments, players, staff and the countless details required to keep a professional sports organization moving.

PROFESSIONAL SPORTS IS NOT ONE DOOR, ONE DECISION-MAKER OR ONE RELATIONSHIP.

Every organization operates differently. Trust matters. Timing matters. Access can create the opening. Fit determines whether the opportunity belongs.

KMG was built around that understanding.

INSIDE THE ENVIRONMENT

WHAT YOU LEARN ON THE INSIDE.

Years inside professional sports teach you quickly that titles are only part of how an organization actually works.

01

The org chart is only part of the story.

Understanding who needs to be involved matters just as much as knowing who sits where.

02

EVERY ORGANIZATION OPERATES DIFFERENTLY.

Leadership, culture, timing and internal process shape how opportunities are evaluated.

03

RELATIONSHIPS CREATE CONTEXT.

Strong relationships help reveal what fits, what matters and when an opportunity should move forward.

04

THE DETAILS DETERMINE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

Communication, logistics, follow-through and respect are what give an opportunity a chance to last.

That perspective is why KMG does not view professional sports as one marketplace or one point of entry. Today, the company works across two distinct but connected lanes: Professional Organization Access and Athlete × Brand Matchmaking.

How We Operate

THE STANDARD BEHIND THE WORK.

The principles are simple. The standard is living them consistently.

01

Access is Earned.

KMG treats relationships as something to protect, not inventory to sell. We only move opportunities forward when there is a credible reason to do so.

02

First Comes Fit.

Not every brand belongs in every organization, and not every athlete fits every partnership. Objective, environment, timing and people come first.

03

Execution Matters.

An introduction only creates the opening. Communication, preparation, logistics and follow-through determine what happens next.

The People Behind KMG

BUILT AROUND PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND THE WORK.

KMG began with firsthand experience inside professional sports. Today, the company is built around people who bring different perspectives, relationships and areas of expertise to the work.

Nick Kray

Founder, Kray Mode Group

FOUNDED BY GOD. LED BY NICK KRAY.

All glory to Him. I am simply following His light.

Nick spent nearly a decade working inside professional sports organizations, including leadership roles with the San Francisco 49ers and Houston Texans.

His work extended across the organization, from the front office to the locker room, supporting football operations, organizational culture, player and staff experience and the day-to-day execution required to keep a professional sports organization moving.

Those experiences became the foundation for KMG.

Today, Nick leads the company with the same approach that shaped his years inside team environments: understand the people, protect the relationship, find the right fit and take care of the details.

IN MEMORY OF RIC CLIFTON

RIC CLIFTON

Creative Director

ARTIST. FRIEND. BROTHER.

Ric was part of KMG from its earliest days, helping turn ideas into something people could see, feel and believe in.

His creativity helped shape the KMG brand, but his impact went far beyond the work. During some of the earliest and most important moments in KMG's story, Ric showed up with his talent, his friendship and his belief in what the company could become.

He helped bring KMG to life when it was still being built.

His work can be seen throughout the foundation of the brand, and the role he played in helping KMG get off the ground will always be part of its story.

Ric will always be part of the foundation of KMG.
